OF INTEREST: Erika is director, choreographer, and theatre educator originally from the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee and Mohawk nations and currently residing and working on the traditional and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. Since completing her Diploma in Musical Theatre from Capilano University with Honours they’ve worked on everything from large scale musicals, tiny indie tours, site specific theatre, and webseries, to corporate galas across the province. As a youth theatre educator for over 15 years, Erika firmly believes that art is for everyone, and that everyone deserves to have their stories told.
