Our History

The Pine Tree Players is a non profit that has been bringing community theatre to the Bow Valley since 1978.

Miners’ Union Hall

Pine Tree Players manage the Canmore Miners’ Union Hall and many of our productions take place there. This wonderful old building has been the community hub of Canmore for over 100 years. Its also available for booking, click here to check availability.

Scholarships

ALAN HIPKINS MEMORIAL AWARD ($500, CANMORE COLLEGIATE HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMIC AWARD)
Presented to a student who demonstrates excellence and commitment in theatre, film or TV performance or production, and will be continuing in this area at a post-secondary setting.
