The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the types of personal information Pine Tree Players (as follows, “PTP”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses. It explains how we use and disclose that information, the choices you have regarding such use and disclosure and how you may correct that information.

  • Activities and transaction related our charitable purposes and volunteer opportunities;
  • Establishing and maintaining communications with you;
  • Notifying you of our news, activities and events;
  • Compiling statistics; 
  • Facilitating payments of wages and/or contractor fees; and
  • Complying with the law or the requests of law enforcement agencies or regulators.

Your knowledge and consent of Pine Tree Players’ collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information is critical. We rely on the following actions by you as indications of your consent to our existing and future Personal Information practices:

  • Your voluntary provision of Personal Information directly to Pine Tree Players for the purpose of viewing or participating in one of our productions or activities (e.g. workshops);

  • Your consent solicited by Pine Tree Players for a specified purpose; 
  • Your receipt of this Privacy Policy, until you notify Pine Tree Players of a withdrawal of this consent; or

Subject to certain legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, you may withdraw this consent at any time. Pine Tree Players will inform you of the consequences of withdrawing your consent.

Pine Tree Players will only collect, use or disclose Personal Information that is necessary for the Identified Purposes or as required by law. If we require Personal Information for any other purpose, you will be notified of the new purpose, and subject to your consent that new purpose will become an Identified Purpose. Pine Tree Players will only collect Personal Information by fair and lawful means. We will retain Personal Information only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the Identified Purposes.

Pine Tree Players will maintain your Personal Information as accurate, complete, and up-to- date as is necessary for the Identified Purposes.

Safeguards

Pine Tree Players will protect your Personal Information by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Safeguards will vary depending on the sensitivity, format, location and storage of the Personal Information.
