Pine Tree Players is excited to produce The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, with Music and Lyrics by William Finn, Book by Rachel Sheinkin and Conceived by Rebecca Feldman, directed by Maxine Bennett with musical director Janell Toews. 

Performances will take place at the Canmore Miners’ Union Hall April 19-23 and 27-29, 2023.

Auditions will take place Tuesday December 6 and Sunday December 11 in Canmore, AB. For the auditions please prepare a 1 minute monologue from a contemporary play (no moviees please). Additionally please prepare one of the following songs – Angels We Have Heard on High, Joy to World, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. We will provide a bluetooth speaker, please bring your own music on your phone or tablet or sing a cappella (without music).

Rehearsals – start January 12, Sundays 4PM-7PM; Wednesdays and Thursdays 6:00-9:00PM
Tech Rehearsal – Sunday April 16 4PM-7PM

Dress Rehearsal – Monday April 17 6PM-10PM
Performances – April 19-22 and 27-29, 7:30PM curtain, April 23 2PM curtain
