Pine Tree Players

Audition for a play

Join us on Stage!

We welcome all individuals to our stage, regardless of background, identity, or ability.

We recognize the unique contributions and perspectives of neurodivergent folks and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and we believe that diversity strengthens our organization.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, we invite you to audition and be a part of our vibrant theatre community.

Auditions for our next play will be held in late November and early December 2024.

If you prefer helping behind the scenes, we also welcome volunteers to assist with set design, costumes, lighting, and more.

how auditions work

everyone is welcome

No matter your experience or background, we encourage you to bring your unique voice to our stage. We strive to offer an inclusive environment where creativity and fun are the priorities, and where everyone is welcome. Our community is supportive and passionate, and we want to make you feel right at home whether you’re on stage or helping behind the scenes.

You can choose to audition in-person or submit a self-tape (video audition).

  • Self-Tape: Offers flexibility to record until satisfied but requires some technical know-how and planning. Learn more.
  • In-Person Audition: Provides a live, interactive experience that some find more engaging. Learn more.

Whichever you choose, we may invite you to a second audition or callback (always in person), where you’ll interact with other actors. Callbacks may include reading scenes, singing, dancing, or movement, depending on the show. Don’t worry—you’ll get all the details to prepare ahead of time.
