OF INTEREST: Michelle is a British-Canadian actress and soprano who has performed in theatres and concert halls internationally.

Her London West End credits include H.M.S. Pinafore, The Sound of Music, Little Me, Twelfth Night, Little Shop of Horrors and the award-winning Follies with Stephen Sondheim. She has also performed leading roles in orchestral concerts such as Gigi, Camelot, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera and Guys and Dolls.

In Canada, she has appeared at the Shaw Festival, Citadel Theatre, Persephone Theatre, ten shows for Stage West, and presented Canmore’s first cabaret, Side by Side by Sondheim. Recent credits include Miss Havisham in Great Expectations in Hamburg, a UK tour of Ladies of Letters, and the historical play Bess the Commoner Queen. With the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, she has performed The Andrew Lloyd Webber Experience and her one-woman show The Tales of Beatrix Potter.

Michelle also runs a private singing studio in Canmore, where her Bow Valley students have gone on to perform in Canada, France, and New York. She is delighted to be joining the Canmore Summer Festival Theatre. www.michelletoddsoprano.com
