Pine Tree Players is casting a One Act Play Festival and the spring production Drinking Habits by Tom Smith.
No matter your experience or background, we encourage you to bring your unique voice to our stage. We encourage auditions from performers of all backgrounds, regardless of race, colour, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
You have the option of doing an in-person audition or sending us a video. In-person auditions will take place November 26 and 27, and December 1. If needed, callbacks will take place on December 8.

Accusations, mistaken identities, and romances run wild in this laugh-out-loud farce. Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancees, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves.

Waiting for the End of the World by John Shanahan Directed by Sherry Thompson Three Horsemen of the Apocalypse debate starting Armageddon without Famine, who’s late and not answering his phone, risking world-ending chaos without perfect symmetry.

Dad Joke Intervention by Wade Bradford Directed by Ron Deans A family stages a “Dad-Joke Intervention” for their pun-loving dad, hoping Mrs. Wright can save them from his endless stream of cheesy jokes.

Depictions of shock therapy, unconsciousness, and mental health distress.
Mudflap Girl by Sya Sen Directed by Candise McMullin Since 1971, an iconic image of a silhouetted woman has moved from truck mudflaps into popular culture. She is perceived through the eyes of people who live in different decades. What is her story? And most mysteriously, who is she?
