Pine Tree Players

seeking production team members

Pine Tree Players are seeking production team members for the 2025 Canmore Summer Theatre Festival. We welcome applications from community theatre volunteers and theatre professionals. Preference will be given to qualified volunteers and being based in the Bow Valley is an asset. If you have any questions please e-mail [email protected].

The Canmore Summer Theatre Festival (CSTF) is an annual outdoor theatre festival. A unique aspect of the CSTF is that volunteers from Pine Tree Players perform alongside and learn from theatre professionals and emerging artists.

This year, the CSTF team is excited to present The Wizard of Oz adapted by Erin Detrick from the book by L. Frank Baum, directed by Chelsea Howell-Fellows and Treasure Island by Mary Zimmerman, directed by Kelsey James. Performances will take place outdoors at the Stan Rogers Stage in Centennial Park, Canmore.

We encourage submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Theatre professionals that can demonstrate professional experience, expertise, and/or post-secondary training are eligible for compensation to be negotiated based on qualifications and available funding.
