Nurturing Creativity
We believe in nurturing creativity, talent and passion! We offer financial assistance for those looking to develop their skills in the dramatic arts through our Training Fund.
Whether you’re interested in taking a theatre course or attending a workshop, we’re here to help cover up to 85% of the cost. Each year, we offer $2,000 via this fund, and we support as many individuals as possible. However, once the amount is fully allocated, we are not able to offer additional financial assistance until the following year— be sure to apply early!

2022 Lauren Hawkeye – A Deeper Dive into Choreographing Intimacy by the National Society of Intimacy Professionals
2021 Tambry Kopp – Stage Managing Intimacy by the National Society of Intimacy Professionals
2021 Courtney Michele – Leadership and Compassionate Communication by the National Society of Intimacy Professionals
Eligibility
If you’ve volunteered with Pine Tree Players in the past or are currently involved in one of our productions, you’re eligible to apply for funding to participate in a course or workshop that builds your skills in the performing arts.
When applying, be sure to demonstrate how your participation will benefit PTP.
Funding Details
We have up to $2,000 available each year, with $500 allocated per quarter. Unused funds roll over, meaning there could be more funding available as the year progresses.
PTP will cover up to 85% of your course or workshop fees, with a minimum contribution of 15% required from you.
How to Apply
Applications are open year-round and are reviewed at our monthly board meetings. The process is simple—just complete our online application form.
Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the quarterly allocation is exhausted.
