OF INTEREST: A theatre kid at heart, Tangle delights in the many hats she gets to wear these days: puppeteer, creature builder, actor, musician, educator, coffee addict, Mama. Little Shop of Horrors is every puppeteer’s dream and it has been such a privilege to wrangle the pods and mentor the exceptional puppeteer for this production. Tangle was the Production Designer for The Hobbit and designed and built the masks for Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. With her own company Entangled Puppetry, she creates and performs eclectic and imaginative theatre experiences to enchant all ages both live and online. Tangle has played accordion in music videos about wildlife, danced across many stages and school gym floors dressed in a bear costume and roamed special events and marched in parades while towering on stilts. Tangle’s passion for theatre has taken her from childhood community theatre stages to a diploma in Musical Theatre, to the fields of Bread and Puppet Theatre and back to the mountains and stages of Alberta where she makes her home with her sweet family in Canmore. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, it is always a pleasure to work with the exceptional, passionate, and dedicated folks who bring Pine Tree Players’ shows to life. A special thanks to her kiddos who are getting so good at hanging out in the back of the theatre while their parents are making the magic happen.
