Pine Tree Players is pleased to present a One Act Play Festival, March 2-6, 2022 at the Canmore Miners’ Union Hall.
Everyone who wishes to audition must register here. One act plays are a great way to try acting and we welcome auditions from people that have little or no acting experience.
We are holding auditions for Simon’s Wife directed by Timothy Eckmier, Friend’s of the Deceased directed by Maxine Bennet, and Donna’s First Brazilian directed by Lauren Hawkeye. Auditions will take place November 28 and December 7, 2021 in Canmore. We encourage auditions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race, colour, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Roles are open to everyone.
We will follow relevant government health guidelines during rehearsals and performances.
The key dates to be aware of are as follows:
Rehearsals – To be confirmed with the cast, typically weekday evenings and weekends
Tech Rehearsal – Sunday February 27, 2022
Dress Rehearsal – Monday February 28, 2022 7:30pm
Performances – March 2-5 at 7:30pm and March 6 at 2pm
