CSTF APPLICATIONS

Canmore Summer Theatre Festival

The Canmore Summer Theatre Festival (CSTF) is an annual outdoor theatre festival. A unique aspect of the CSTF is that volunteers from Pine Tree Players perform alongside and learn from theatre professionals and emerging artists.

This year, the CSTF team is excited to present Sense and Sensibility by Kate Hamill based on the novel by Jane Austen, directed by Shelby Reinitz and I Was a Rat by Barbara Field based on book by Philip Pullman, directed by Tyler McClaron. Performances will take place outdoors at the Stan Rogers Stage in Centennial Park, Canmore.

The dates of the festival are as follows (all dates and times are subject to change):

Rehearsals start April 16 and will be on Sundays from 10AM-6PM, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6PM-9PM, Canmore, Alberta.

The Festival Run is July 12-23, with performances of The I Was a Rat at 1pm and Sense and Sensibility at 7pm. There will be no performances on July 17 and 18.

We encourage submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
