DESCRIPTION:		\n				\n					\n				\n										\n						\n									REGISTER\n					\n					\n								\n				\n									Join Pine Tree Players for a hands-on directing workshop  We are excited to be hosting a two-part workshop this Spring led by Bronwyn Steinberg, the creative director of Lunchbox Theatre in Calgary! This workshop will be split up into two parts: Part 1: Choosing a Script on June 7, and Part 2: Directing Basics and Building a Director’s Vision on July 26. Both workshops complement each other well, and are great for helping build your director’s application for the PTP 2027 Season. However, either workshop will work wonderfully as a stand-alone workshop.Part 1 – Choosing a Script | June 7 6:30-8:30pmIn this short online workshop, Bronwyn will be focusing on resources for finding scripts, what things you should consider when selecting a play, and what the Pine Tree Player’s are looking for when it comes to play submissions in our Call for Directors.Part 2 – Directing Basics and Building a Director’s Vision | July 26 10am-5pmThis in-person workshop will take place at the Canmore Public Library. This full-day workshop will focus on creating an effective pitch for your play. Bronwyn will walk you through the details of articulating a director’s vision and ensuring your play is suitable for the company you are pitching to.
